# Withdraw from a stack

> Choose how to receive a full exit and follow it through confirmation.

Withdrawal is a full exit from an active stack investment. You cannot withdraw
only part of it. Assets return to the account's saved owner wallet. Connecting
a different wallet does not change the recipient. Each attempt that transfers
assets needs a new signature from the saved owner.

## Choose how to receive the assets

| Choice      | What you receive                                                            |
| ----------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Held assets | The supported tokens in the account, including USDG, without selling them.  |
| USDG        | USDG already in the account, plus USDG from selling other supported tokens. |

Both choices aim to empty the account. Review the estimate before signing.
The USDG estimate depends on sales succeeding. A failed sale does not turn
into a held-asset transfer.

There is no extra withdrawal fee. Sales made for a USDG withdrawal incur the
normal [trading fees](/architecture/execution#trading-fees).

## Complete the exit

1. Open an active stack and choose **Withdraw**. If a rebalance is in progress,
   wait for it to finish.
2. Choose USDG or held assets. Review the expected outcome.
3. If prompted, use the saved owner wallet to sign the withdrawal request.
4. Follow the withdrawal status until the exit is confirmed.

Your investment stays open until the full exit is confirmed. An already empty
account can complete its exit without a signature.

After a full exit, you can join the same stack again. MyStacks reuses the
account and its saved owner. You must activate the new investment. The earlier
